My first camera was a plastic Kodak...a gift from my parents when I was about five years old. I have loved being behind the camera ever since. I immediately started taking pictures of my family and flowers and that is what I still do today - I make beautiful photographs of people and of the natural world that is a gift to all of us!

I love capturing life's little moments...the look on parents' faces as they hold their children, the excitement in a child as he or she tries something new, the animation in someone as they laugh with a friend, the beautiful way that time and life ages us as seen in the face of an older person. I accomplish this in several ways. One is candid event photography, particularly events that bring two or more generations together, where almost anything can (and often does) happen. The other is location portraiture in one's home, place of business, or outdoors which allows for more relaxed and open time together.
